The Land of the Huaxu Clan (from Ancient Chinese Manuscripts)

Mapping is not only done by Dream Hackers and Mr. Panov. Ancient dreamers also engaged in it. Recently, SI acquired several rare manuscripts. In China, they were translated into Russian for him. Perhaps the language will seem a little awkward to you. But the Chinese translator knows little about Russian stylistics and conventions. Therefore, approach the texts with patience. Fragments from the book "Liezi" (considered a 4th-century AD forgery, allegedly based on a genuine manuscript):

"The Land of the Huaxu Clan is located to the west of Yanzhou, to the north of Taizhou, and is millions of li from the realm of Qi, no one knows how many; it cannot be reached by boat, nor by chariot, nor on foot – one can only travel there by aspiration or in a dream... The people inhabiting it have no evil inclinations and live by the laws of nature. They do not rejoice in life nor fear death, thus they desire nothing for themselves and give nothing to others; therefore, they know neither love nor hate; they betray no one and submit to no one, and thus they neither harm nor benefit anyone. No one regrets anything, fears anything; in water, they do not drown, and fire does not burn them; sword and whip do not wound them; tickling does not make them itch; they walk through the air as on solid ground, sleep in emptiness; cloud and fog do not obscure their sight; beauty and ugliness leave no traces in their hearts, and they move like celestial beings."

(My clarifications: Yanzhou – East, Taizhou – South, the realm of Qi – everyday reality).

The book states that this land formed from the footprint of some deity's gigantic foot. This unknown being ordered chaos, gave birth to the two forces of Yin and Yang, and then departed somewhere, leaving footprints, each of which formed its own unique world. (Analogue to various positions of the Assemblage Point?) Subsequently, the edges of the gigantic footprint transformed into a spirit with a human face (boundaries of the human template?). This spirit, with a red snake-like body stretching for thousands of li, became the guardian of the Land of the Huaxu Clan (the extreme limits of the Tonal). It has two eyes resembling vertical slits. When it closes them, night falls; when it opens them, day begins. Only through its eyes could the perfectly wise person enter and exit the Land of the Huaxu Clan (two passages in the north and southeast?).

"By the light of a candle that Zhulong held in its mouth, it could illuminate the highest spheres of heaven and the deepest layers of earth, where eternal darkness reigned. And because it always held a candle in its mouth and illuminated the darkness in the heavenly gates to the north, it was also called Zhuyin – Illuminator of Darkness."
