More on Intent
In our view, anyone interested in methods for "hacking" such "programs" as human consciousness, Dreaming, and our everyday life can be a Dream Hacker. And so, to provide an example of such a hack, I will begin a discussion on intent. SI tried to initiate a discussion on this topic with Sergey Khrapovitsky, but it somehow didn't progress, and he was rushing to China. So, everything became muddled. But we are not in a hurry, and we can thoroughly discuss it.
So, intent is an abstract concept, completely unrelated to its meaning in Dahl's dictionary. That is, it is not a desire (and not even a strong desire). One might consider the term close to the meaning of "will" in the sense of aspects of magic (as if "will" is the power of realization). But that too is mere gibberish. It is difficult to describe abstract terms. And we, being Dream Hackers, will proceed stealthily and indirectly. First and foremost, for those ready to dispute with me, I will say: consider Dreaming; do you truly need desire to fly? No, you "know" there that you can fly, and so you fly. No one strains themselves to sweat, desiring. One simply flies, and that's all. Or in everyday reality, you formed the intent to drink. No one begins to "strongly desire" at that moment. One simply goes and drinks. One "knows" how to do it. One is trained in this intent. That is, "intent" is very similar to knowledge, but it is not knowledge. It is closer to recollection. Enough of this. The main thing is that you cast aside your ingrained opinions about intent, based on linguists' interpretations. Believe me, linguists do not understand true intent.
Okay! My first lecture (chuckle) will begin with such a simple topic as "transits of reality."
Recently, I had a dream about fishing. A river rushed before me, carrying fragments of buildings, logs, and animal corpses. (As if something had been washed away somewhere.) I accepted this fact as self-evident. So what if I'm fishing in a current that has swept away some city? Can you imagine the foreignness of our dreaming consciousness?! If you saw something similar in real life, there would be endless discussions. But here, zero attention. After casting my float, I suddenly found the line tangled. The consciousness's response: I need to fix it. I step back and turn around. And I enter another Perception Bubble. The river is gone; there is a hillside, at the bottom of which lies a pink kettlebell! Consciousness accepts all of this at face value. Nothing disturbs it. I drop the fishing rod and pick up the kettlebell, regretting that there isn't a second one. Then I could do exercises. (Superb logic!) Instantly, I have two kettlebells in my hands. And I find myself in a new scene (in a new Perception Bubble). This is a cottage room where I am supposedly resting. In the room is an unknown citizen, who is also supposedly sleeping here. It turns out we've been assigned to the same room. And so on...
Question: What transferred me from one Perception Bubble to another? Answer: Transits of reality—dream images that moved with me into other Perception Bubbles. In the first instance, it was the fishing rod; in the second, the kettlebell, and so on.
What makes these "transits" interesting? They are interesting because they also exist in our everyday reality. For example, my dachshund. She clearly moves me four times a day from the Perception Bubble of my apartment to the Perception Bubble of the pine forest where I walk her.
To ensure my lecture (without any trace of ego, my experience with dreaming journeys is just under a year) does not become a LECTURE, let's do this. Send your dream descriptions, with examples of "transits." Send descriptions of "transits" in everyday reality. And if I understand that the topic has resonated in your hearts, we will continue it.
