Recapitulation, Transits, and Solitaire
Original Source ↗Again about transits. More precisely, about Recapitulation from the perspective of transits. If someone has seriously engaged in Recapitulation, they probably noticed, even at the stage of filling out inventory lists, that our life is composed of Chains of Events: macro, mid-level, and micro-importance for us. Some chains originate, develop, and successfully conclude (either within a day or over a longer period). Other chains, upon reaching certain stages, seem to freeze and remain unfinished. Thus, the life of an ordinary person is a fringe of unfinished matters – threads of chains drag behind everyone, snagging on everything, creating a host of troubles and draining our last remnants of strength. Quite the karma. :)
What to do? DH and KK proposed a method of Recapitulation involving a "magical" and breathing maneuver, which is unclear to me. I do not presume to dispute these head rotations and breathing. But they are not understandable to me. And I would be grateful if someone could explain them clearly to me. (Read)
The Dream Hackers have a different method. They represent each event as a "standard Perception Bubble." Only do not confuse an event with an action. That is, if you simply scratched an itchy spot, that is an action; but if you did it on stage or in front of an audience, it can become an event, i.e., an action that elicited a response from the surrounding world (a trigger that set off subsequent events).
And the Dream Hackers concluded that one can cleanse their life in two ways: at every moment of the present time, by transitioning into a mode of optimal actions (more on this later), and by working on their past, which is abundant with ill deeds (by working with unfinished Chains of Events).
For this purpose, the "solitaire method" was developed, where the entire aggregate of all possible events was (roughly) divided into 4 categories according to the centuries-old system of cards. And by the same analogy, events of the same categories received qualitative values, reflected by the card ranks. The "magical" Medici Solitaire of John Dee and Queen Medici was taken as the base solitaire. Why? Because this solitaire perfectly suits the algorithm of the task at hand. And once again, I remind you that the main goal of this entire method is to conserve the Lucid Dreamer's personal energy for achieving Lucid Dreams and other fascinating endeavors.
Medici Solitaire is based on the transitions of one event into another according to a specific scheme, which relies on two types of transits: by suit (by sympathy, involvement, engagement – it is difficult to find the right word for the actual phenomenon; in fact, such a word does not yet exist) and by matching rank (the valence of an event, its energetic level – the same case; a completely new term needs to be invented). I would be grateful for an understanding of these concepts and proposed terminology options.
Thus, we know that the world can be described in any way imaginable and through an infinite number of schemes – all of them are valid and, in principle, equivalent. Let us imagine a scenario where you (at least for a while) begin to perceive reality by orienting yourself to the rather simple scheme of Medici Solitaire. You, for example, assume that all events imply the genesis of new events, and you choose the variant of their development that will lead to a natural or self-provoked conclusion of the Chain of Events. Your actions will be impeccable if, in response to the challenge of the present moment, your reaction does not entail a time-diluted sequence of new events, each of which will turn out to be a potential source of new chains. Your actions will be impeccable if you complete the chain with the maximum possible speed. If you consider the proposed method from the perspective of a stalker's principles and rules, you will find interesting analogies and coincidences. In principle, a theoretical work in the spirit of Mares could be written about this, but we are interested in practice, aren't we?
This method should first be practiced on insignificant events; then one can tackle the unfinished Chains of Events of the past. This practice is connected with Recapitulation – it is, as it were, a new form of it.
But this method has one unique quality. It leads a person to the rules of the Eagle – to the formalized algorithms of Chains of Events. I will write about them later.
And I would like to provoke a discussion on this topic. The fact that it is associated with cards is a Dream Hackers' trick. They once again wanted to present serious material in an alluring wrapper, to make this aspect of knowledge enticing to many people.
