General Structure of Dream Hackers' Research and New Perspectives
Original Source ↗I present a general structure of Dream Hackers' research. First and foremost, we aimed to create a method that would satisfy all the requirements and rules described by CC in his books. We seriously and extensively analyzed various possibilities and settled on Dreaming cartography. Firstly, this is the not-doing of ordinary Dreaming (in the "doing," people recount plots or try to interpret dream details using dream books). Secondly, Dreaming cartography is a re-evaluation of dreams, the awakening of dream memory (and thus, the same ordered shift of the Assemblage Point as in the re-evaluation of life events). Thirdly, it is an improvement of the Tonal – a singularity or the bringing of order to the chaotic mass of dreams creates a dense sphere of the first attention within some virtual environment. With prolonged cartography, this sphere gains mass and density and begins to attract and assimilate the energies and information of the Nagual. Something akin to an artificial "black hole." We called it a "worm" in the Dreaming program. You see, Dreaming is analogous to a text file. Dealing with dreams, a person typically operates with words, texts, concepts, but cannot control the Dreaming program. We, however, created a "subroutine" that acted autonomously from the main Dreaming program and, crucially, influenced it. It is because of this that my friends decided to call themselves "Dream Hackers." Fourthly, cartography is an engaging practice. We specifically created a game context for it, a quest context, where a person searches, completes assigned tasks, passes established levels, and eventually begins to experience Lucid Dreams. It is this "quest-like" nature of cartography that energizes a person for years of practice. Otherwise, only very stubborn individuals or fanatics would engage in it. But fanatics need a leader – a guru. Dream Hackers despise all gurus, because currently, without exception, they all carry the mercantile spirit of seasoned swindlers. Guru means knowledge for money, for the slavery of spirit and body. We seek personal freedom, hence this attitude. And since none of us wanted to be the "great Vereshchagin," the werewolf-dragon-snake Marez, or the father-Nagual Sidersky, we decided to stick with quest-based cartography.
It is interesting to note that the first years of practice brought us several intriguing discoveries. Firstly, we realized that each person's dream map is built upon the same universal or archetypal matrix. Whatever the individual differences, the foundation for all maps is the same – some imprint of reality, described by cartography. We identified the main archetypal elements of landscapes – boundary zones, giant structures, labyrinths, zones of transmutations or landscape transformations, transport lines, zones of cataclysms, desolate lands, etc. Secondly, we discovered places where, upon visiting, the dreamer experienced a tremendous surge of energy and enhancement of various abilities. One consequence of such "successful hits" is an explosion of dream memory. The person experiences a unique and ecstatic state where, in one finite and infinite moment, they recall hundreds, thousands of previous dreams; where they know precisely when, at what time of life they saw these dreams; and where they become part of a causal wholeness. Words cannot describe this, but once you experience it yourself, you can sit down, draw the entire dream map, and no longer need to engage with it. It will remain and live within you, in your consciousness. This is understandable. Over a long life, we have visited almost all points on the "map." And at the moment of the dream memory explosion, all these parts assemble into a complete picture. It is usually after this that true Lucid Dreams begin. Why do I say "true"? Because they are preceded by initial lucid dreams, where you become aware within a dream and even perform some primitive actions. In true LDs, there is greater stability (unless you are exploring transmutation zones).
Thirdly, we discovered that the Dreaming program is well protected. By and large, people are disempowered users of dreams. And we found our "sysadmins." Initially, the "hackers" classified them into three existing categories. I mean flyers, Inorganic Beings, and guardians. But then our further research led us to a different conclusion – all these dream Sprites are personifications of the histones of Tonal DNA. (I will talk about histones and Tonal DNA later.) Moreover, we now know that "passages to the other side" (that is, natural exits from the Tonal into the Nagual, in their metaphorical and cartographical aspects), as well as places where, as we previously thought, a person restores their luminosity, are in fact Tonal DNA histones.
Fourthly, we discovered oddities in the orientation of Dreaming spaces. Similar oddities were noted in ancient Chinese cartography. This pushed us towards new research and the search for ancient books and manuscripts. The results were astounding. The same group mindset led one of our dreamers to find a way to read Dreaming books. Reading texts in Dreaming is a difficult process. However, the "hackers" have now solved this problem too. And again, something phenomenal occurred. We gained access to that layer of information typically called the Akashic Records. In essence, this is access to any data recorded in the informational layers of the planet.
The first result of this breakthrough was an almost "magical" model of stalking – a model based on Medici Solitaire. Thanks to this model, one can work with Chains of Events in everyday life. That is, to solve current problems, change the course of events in the desired direction, and conduct a life review in a more engaging and cheerful manner than, say, sitting in a box and shaking one's head.
The next stage of our research was the study of transitions from one dream to another. We identified the texture of transits – elements responsible for such transitions. As it turned out, "transits" also exist in the everyday world. But interestingly, this similarity between the everyday and Dreaming worlds led to yet another discovery – the discovery of a foundational reality that encompasses these two worlds. And then the Tonal DNA model was born. At present, we have not only developed it but are also beginning to test it in various areas of our activity. The prospects are astounding.
Answers to Your Questions
Now, regarding your questions. Why did we reduce the classification of dreams to 4 categories, and not expand it to, say, a hundred or two thousand? Probably because 4 categories are more than enough for practical work. Take, for example, "delusional loops" – this is when there's almost no plot in the dream, and you repeatedly perform a limited sequence of actions. The "hackers" devised a clever way to use "delusional loops" to produce discoveries, solve various problems, and find aesthetically beautiful and effective solutions. The cycle of a "delusional loop" transforms into a clock generator for an autonomous subroutine of consciousness. You input data, the "subroutine" enters it into the "Eagle's Calculator" (that is, some level of consciousness unknown to us), and then returns an answer to us. The second category is ordinary dreams (dreams whose elements remain in our memory). Yes, obviously, there are dreams that do not remain in our memory. But then why should we waste time on them? I believe that the tricks of the first attention will be deciphered during practice. And therefore, they should be treated accordingly. The third category is vivid dreams – dreams that are remembered completely. The fourth category is initial lucid dreams (awareness within a dream; I have already written about them). But true Lucid Dream states (ОСики) are not dreams. They are notes of a different opera – conscious activity, control over the Dreaming program, a multitude of possibilities that make your eyes dart around, and then you have to catch them.
So what exactly is an LD? First of all, it is the achievement of the first attention, and therefore, it is not the Nagual. In an LD, you can enter the Nagual and interpret it, but you should not confuse an LD with the Nagual. Nevertheless, in an LD, interaction with the Nagual occurs. For example: A young man severely froze his legs – to the point where amputation was threatened. His sister wrote to me and asked for advice. I advised her to use delusional loops to enter an LD and influence her brother's legs through the Nagual. It sounds a bit wild, but it really works. The girl didn't know how to enter delusional loops. I advised her to play "Baldur's Gate 2" in its most nightmarish variant. Up until that point, she hated computer games and only occasionally played Tetris and bubble shooters. But I was an authority figure for her. She created three teams and spent a day and a half playing the first three levels with each of them. Naturally, at night, she was wandering through some quest in her dream and suddenly remembered what all this was for. She entered a brief LD, holding a bunch of healing amulets and scrolls. Then she used a teleporter, found herself in the hospital, then in her brother's ward, and there she used all her magical inventory. But a delusional loop is a delusional loop – she quickly lost awareness, but the deed was done. The girl repeated the same procedure all night – making her way to the hospital to her brother and healing him with all sorts of scrolls, amulets, and spells. In the morning, a miracle occurred – doctors, examining the young man, noted striking improvements and managed with medication.
Furthermore, you ask about the size of the map. Where are they taken from? Naturally, from practice. I practiced cartography for six years (though I still do it now, but in a somewhat different form).
Now about Dreaming cycles: here I'll tell you honestly – we were little interested in ordinary dreams (even initial lucid ones). The main preparatory work of the dreamer takes place in vivid dreams and delusional loops. And we did not consider cyclicity in dreams. You see, Dream Hackers are more likely to hack and reshape things to their liking. They are not scientists. Initially, we conducted a statistical study – several survey groups were created, psychologists were hired, a suitcase full of cassette tapes with about eight thousand dreams recorded on them is lying somewhere. But, in my opinion, all this is from the evil one. Statistics will not give you practical results. It's pseudo-scientific nonsense, interesting only to narrow specialists. Although, perhaps, I am mistaken.
