Original Source ↗The first thing a dreamer needs at stage 00.doc is a dream journal. Dreams are of 4 types: a "delusional loop," 100% chatter, a dream with elements of action, and the so-called "transparent dreaming." You can dispute this classification, add or remove nominees, but the essence is simple – 4 types, and that’s all. Lucid Dreams are not dreams. The first two types are very useful... but at stages 07-09.doc. Dreams of the 3rd type are optimal for the beginning. It's interesting to note that dreams of the first type occur during nervous system overload – throughout the entire night, meaning all 5-6 periods of REM-dreams. Dreams of the 2nd type occur during the 2nd-4th REM-sleep periods. The action-oriented dreams we need are from the 1st, 5th, and 6th REM-sleep periods. Therefore, it's best to recall the last dream.
How to recall (daily)? The setting is placed on the waking phase. You must wake up slowly and with the intention to recall the dream. This is a delicate and personal matter. Everyone finds their own ways and means to accomplish this task. You woke up, recalled, wrote it in your journal. Hangover, a girlfriend in bed, errands – put everything aside. The first steps require enormous willpower. It is necessary to keep records every day.
In principle, there are three turning points. The first is to force yourself to keep a journal. How to keep a journal? You had a dream. You recalled it. You draw a map of the area in the journal (try to be detailed, it will be useful later). Next to it, you briefly describe the dream's context. Furthermore, your associations with this dream, thoughts, and so on. Then, you put a sequential number on the page. You collect about 20-30 such pages. You wait for the merging of dreams. (In reality, we all live in a dream in a small patch of space. That is, sooner or later, individual dreams begin to merge.) If you're impatient, start arranging the dream numbers on a clean sheet of paper. Just trust your intuition.
My advice: arrange your dream map mirror-inverted – south at the top, north at the bottom, west on the right, east on the left. The dreaming and everyday worlds are reflected projections of each other. The focal point is you.
Landmarks
The map is limited by so-called boundary areas. The southern boundary, almost certainly, will be connected with childhood – a river, sea, mountains, ocean, a series of hills. It does not shift with progress in dreaming. The northern boundary shifts gradually. In the east, many have a "blind spot." That is, there are some elements of the eastern sector, but there are many unexplored places there. The western sector is stable and usually bordered by a river, beyond which mountains are visible.
I have visited many countries, and in Russia, I've only not lived in the Far North and the Far East, but on my dream map, there is only one city. It includes elements of many other cities – in fact, it is a template for the concept of "city." In the southern half of the map, there is a gigantic structure that many perceive either as a multi-story station/terminal/airport, or as a mountain/Olympus/stairway to heaven/and so on. This gigantic structure fluctuates on many maps, shifting either to the south or towards the center of the map. In the center of the map is your native home. In the northeastern sector are zones of cataclysms, locations of various spiritual schools, nightmare zones, etc. In this sector, you will encounter other dreamers and some "infiltrators."
In the northwestern corner, there is an unclear phenomenon that you will only properly observe at the moment of death. A sort of "hole" where the western and northern rivers drain. We will talk about this later. The map contains very stable and unchanging places, but there are also zones of transmutations where everything changes. Zones of transmutations are entrances to the lower worlds. Approximately in the middle of the map and to the west, there is a huge pit where the template of "industry" is located. When you visit this place, you will understand. Paradise is in the southeastern corner. A very beautiful place, but I was struck by how small and... mmm... rustic it is.
In the dreaming world, there are many attention traps – labyrinths, a prison (a giant computer), the ancestral home, etc. In these places, parts of ourselves are stored. These are certain parts of our consciousness, enclosed in separate information carriers. The topic of traps is again best explored later. Especially after you visit the "sanctuary" and receive/regain a decent portion of your "luminosity."
There are railroads on the map. Consider them bonuses. Each railroad personifies an excellent way of shifting the Assemblage Point. In short, one could talk about this endlessly. Start, and I will help.
