Safety Techniques in Dreaming
Original Source ↗Q:
After reading the "Dream Hackers" page, I got the impression that Dreaming is a very dangerous, even deadly pursuit. Given the considerable experience of the "Dream Hackers," I wanted to ask if they would consider creating at least a small set of rules for the safety of dreamers. Many lack teachers or even acquaintances who could help them in this, and they might inadvertently perish or go mad... not knowing the rules and laws of that world.
A: Dok
The "Dream Hackers" do not wish to create any codes of rules, because they are unequivocally against them :)) SI wrote about the dangers; there's no need to repeat it here. In the initial stages (up to the development of Lucid Dream), the dreamer has nothing to fear. Except for idiots and teachers who create codes of rules :)) Personally, I would add the following:
- Seldom venture into labyrinths;
- Do not play games with the "voice of dreams";
- Do not consider yourself eternal and invincible;
- Exit dreams in every instance when you feel that someone (a dream character) is forcibly inserting something vile into your mouth through the upper palate. (If you have had such dreams, you should engage in "mental" cleansing, tracking the imprinted program within you that "hampers" your development. Its action may manifest as drowsiness, a loss of interest in previously engaging topics, etc.);
- Avoid the following places: the black world, the eastern region beyond the gigantic tower, the river in the SW corner of your dream space;
- Avoid the following entities: parents, "clawed creatures," exceptionally beautiful people (infiltrators who are too lazy to adjust their human template program), large flying beings.
But I repeat, dangers begin once the dreamer opens to forces and loses their shields. If any of you have already reached such a stage, then the advice of a simple and novice dreamer like myself would hardly be useful to him (or her).
