Symbols in Dreams and Information Security

Original Source ↗

Dark Magus: Some time ago, on my site Dream Injection, I had a section for symbols from Dreams, where I and some other dreamers contributed images of symbols we had captured from our Dreams. I propose reviving this here, as there are more people here, and consequently, there will be more material. What do you think of this idea?

Response 1: It's a good idea, if there's something to put. :)

Response 2: Oh, we'll find something to put... Surely Dream Hackers see secret signs in their Dreams? :) The other thing is, sometimes such a sign is shown that sharing it with others is simply premature due to the unpreparedness of many.

Agronom Agronomych: I am categorically against it. We'll stir up such a mess with these symbols that we won't be able to sort it out ourselves afterwards. I already regret engaging in this previously. First, there needs to be mutual affinity, and only then can symbols be exchanged, but privately. Otherwise, it will be utter chaos.

Dark Magus (implied): But I immediately wrote that not every symbol would be put up for public display. A person must be fully aware of what they are doing.

Another Participant: As I understood it, these symbols are not necessarily for encounters in Dreaming (naturally, that's better done privately), but simply for what remarkable things someone saw in a Dream – in graphic form. In my opinion, the idea is very good.

Agronom Agronomych: And did I say that symbols are specifically for encounters? There are reasons why I think this way, but no one forbids you from sharing. If you wish, display them for public viewing. I will not do it.

Another Participant (or Dark Magus): Explain in more detail what bad things could come from showing others one of the depicted dream images?

Agronom Agronomych: Not all dreamers blend well with each other. Symbols of Dreaming either have connections to the inner world of the dreamer, in which case it is a very intimate thing, or they represent an interpretation of information channels with external (in relation to the dreamer) consciousnesses. These very channels in different dreamers can simply conflict with one another. Furthermore, knowledge (Sufi initiation) can arrive in the form of symbols. The knowledge beneficial to one might be harmful to another. There are also nuances related to the intention embedded within a symbol. But I think you already understand what I'm talking about. In short, mixing everything indiscriminately, on the one hand, is good (I myself dislike excessive secrecy), but only at a certain stage. On the Dream Hackers forum, there are practically no absolute beginners. On the other hand, there are groups that are more or less advanced in the study of Dreaming. If we start posting indiscriminately, and I don't observe any informational geniuses here, such a mess will begin that only the Lord God knows how it will end. For example, I intend to punch Tambov in the face — that's relatively harmless. But if we post our symbols, this simple desire could escalate into a conflict of corresponding informational connections. Let me give an example: once I was looking for a person from another forum (not the Dream Hackers one). I tuned into their nickname and immediately stumbled upon a group of individuals. After literally a couple of words, they attacked me, and a fight began. Something about me strongly displeased them. If I had been weaker, I probably would have stayed there. But I managed to escape, and in doing so, I seem to have seriously injured one of them. The question is, who needs all this? Symbols provide direct hooks into the frequency band of Dreaming — and this can simply interfere with one's own affairs.
