Should One Tell Others About Their Lucid Dreams?
Original Source ↗Should One Tell Others About Their Lucid Dreams?
The question of whether one can tell others about their Lucid Dreams, I recall, has already been raised on Sergei Khrapovitsky's forum. But, in my opinion, no definite conclusion was reached. What do the Dream Hackers say about this? Because sometimes there is something to tell (and most importantly, one wants to :))... Perhaps the Dream Hackers have seen (or felt, or something else) what happens when you tell someone?
Each person must decide this question for themselves. I knew one woman. Her primary motivation for working with dreams was discussing them. She was considered an expert on dreaming. She required fresh material daily. And what? She saw vivid and colorful dreams — multi-part, with profound contexts, and so on. Someone else might have different motivations or approach Lucid Dreams with reverence. In that case, motives for concealing the sacred are possible. That is, 'I have received a great initiation into truth, and if I reveal this secret to others, I will lose the favor of God, the Eagle, and so forth.' In reality, your descriptions of dreams are a means of solidifying (or actualizing?) some intention — whether conscious or not. One must understand this intention, and then it will become clear whether discussing Lucid Dreams will harm your practice or not.
