Further on Safety Measures in Dreaming
Original Source ↗To everything that Doc wrote about safety in Dreaming, I want to add and clarify the safety rules developed by our group before we became acquainted with the articles of the Dream Hackers: "Do not play games with the 'voice of Dreaming'." If you need it, develop the habit of disputing it on every occasion. In any case, do not immediately comply with what the voice says. They act honestly, but their ability to operate with concepts surpasses all our rhetoric and logic, therefore not everything that seems true to us is actually true. Do not throw yourself into desires and words. If you cannot control any of your emotions, it is better to refuse an emissary. Within the boundaries of the first attention (not in Dreaming), caution in interaction should increase by an order of magnitude. From my own experience, I say that sometimes you mistake the voice for your own thought, which sounds like a command.
When you are in a Dreaming (Lucid Dream), and you are surrounded by people, do not linger on them with your attention, do not look them in the eyes. If several entities immediately turn their attention to you and move towards you, immediately exit the Dreaming (Lucid Dream).
All your friends, enemies, and acquaintances are not what you think; do not interact with them, avoid physical contact. It is especially important to avoid sexual relations (no matter how much you might want them); this is hardly even possible in Dreaming (Lucid Dream), but it is better not to do so even in a simple dream. Your parents in a dream may even help you or pose no real threat — but they are the ones who can get closest to you, those who study you most meticulously, those who will strike at the most unexpected moment for you.
If you have a habit of killing enemies or various monstrosities, do not get rid of it; just see the deed through to the end and do not take "trophies from the battlefield." In general, you should not take any objects or living beings from a dream or Dreaming (Lucid Dream) (unless you are a seer).
Particularly dangerous entities in Dreaming (Lucid Dream) are those related to water: with claws, tentacles, gills. Those who live in Dreaming (Lucid Dream) within tree-like objects do not forgive intrusion into their territory, but they usually warn of their intentions (we perceive these entities with feline characteristics).
We have more Dreaming (Lucid Dream) practices than we remember. Therefore, do not fall into emotional excitement if you recall a Dreaming (Lucid Dream) – this is almost only one fifth of the whole, and the closest to the current level of perception. Emotional detachment will help you easily endure future memories of those Dreamings (Lucid Dreams) that you are only dreaming of now (and they may have already occurred :), without harm to your health. The most dangerous thing is the infinite journey of the Assemblage Point.
A zero level of danger does not exist for anyone.
After starting cartography practice, we encountered labyrinths on September 12th. Before this, no one had encountered such a formation. In our opinion, this is a new formation (relative to the age of the Universe :)) and relates only to human beings, perhaps even created by them in some way. Why we hadn't encountered it before is a question... perhaps the influence of the Dream Hackers' map descriptions, or our concentration on hands and searching for infiltrators :)
Question
Has anyone done cartography of labyrinths? I would drink with that HERO!!!!!! (Perceive this strictly as an exaltation of courage).
Regarding the description of the second level of danger, specifically the phrase: "The worst scenarios are captivity in labyrinths (in reality — coma) or torture in FSB basements." Torture in basements — what kind of danger is that? Perhaps we are, after all, fabricating this danger? At present, there are far more real threats to the country than even advanced Dream Hackers. And the pragmatic results they could offer various services require a flawless integrity that even ardent Castaneda fanatics, walking the path of the heart — the warrior's path — lack. Human nature is characterized by the need for rest, the desire for a shepherd-teacher, and the need to control everything. Based on this, who would be able to organize and fund such activities from the budget? Who would want to spend time and resources on those who might turn out to be 'uncontrolled' liars, or who could at any time burn out from within, or, more realistically, depart into the worlds of Inorganic Beings, enriching the knowledge about humanity for a camp that will eventually become the 'most likely adversary'?
One must not fixate beginners (who are, for the most part, the younger generation) on dangers emanating from social society; believe me, they are already sufficiently under this pressure. On the contrary, effort should be applied to the point of breakthrough, from where humanity's chances will increase.
The strategy for combating any system has long been developed by seers: by creating a system in which none of the laws of the opposing one are fulfilled, the other will be defeated. Therefore, if YOU witness or HAVE SEEN a threat, there is truly no need to scare; one must act. One must foresee and preempt negative processes, not wait for the 'True Conquest for Dreamers' to come into full force.
