What is 'uncovering dream memory'?
It begins with recalling old dreams while creating a map. It then continues within Dreaming, when in a dream you recall having been in that place, and this recollection expands the boundaries of that Perception Bubble. Ultimately, this 'uncovering' overtakes you in reality. You begin to recall a dream, and suddenly a wave of energy sweeps over you. This experience is comparable to the literary expression 'in the last moment before death, he remembered his entire life.'
At the moment of 'uncovering dream memory,' you recall 'your entire dream life.' An immense amount of information in a brief moment. Naturally, neurons melt from overload, an emergency psychosomatic mode engages; you cannot sit still, you are carried through streets, your apartment, mountains; everything is as if in a delirium. And what's interesting! This insight strikes you in a fraction of a second, yet you access the information in the old way — sequentially. You recall it — perhaps for a couple of years. It's like a program has been downloaded, and then you use it.
I don't know what happens to the Assemblage Point during this. I don't 'see' it. Perhaps it shifts somewhere. But Dream Hackers don't care. They are content that this stage elevates them to a new level of working with the 'dreaming program.' And this level involves an increase in the number of Lucid Dreams, better fixation of attention (which completely eliminates the need for regular shifts of attention from object to object).
