Fear as a Trap of Attention

Original Source ↗

Some individuals are highly suggestible. They engage in Dreaming practice, achieve positive results, and then suddenly encounter monstrous rumors concerning guardians of the astral plane, asserting that CC is a galactic vampire, or that recounting one's Dreaming depletes the dreamer's power and utterly obstructs Dreaming practice. Esteemed colleagues, fear is a narcotic. Our physical form has become habituated to it and craves it in copious amounts. Our entire consciousness gleefully seizes upon such prejudices and manifests them into reality. To approach knowledge, you must conquer the primary adversary. How? Become aware of these traps of attention and confront them with joyous laughter. Then, maintaining a Dreaming journal will not diminish the frequency of your Lucid Dreams.
