Mental Cleansing

What is "mental cleansing" (mentioned in Doc's article on precautions in dreams)?

I do not know what Doc meant. When he returns from his long journey, I will be sure to ask him about it. In my opinion, "mental cleansing" is most often performed using breathwork. That is, it involves visualizing the problem and "destroying" it with exhalations (I mean erasing modulated images, relocating them, or splitting them into increasingly smaller fragments). Psychology asserts that any problem has an emotionally charged core. Therefore, psychoanalysts advise visualizing the problem until the corresponding emotions arise, and then consciously replacing that emotion with another. As a Scientologist would say, this technique discharges the "basic basics." As a result, a person is "mentally cleansed" through the recognition of an accomplished fact, or through forgiveness, or through understanding the profound causes of existence. A clear sign of a problem's resolution is usually an involuntary sigh. By the way, touching upon this topic, I would like to say a few words in defense of Hubbard. He wasn't always fixated on Scientology. In the 1950s, he was considered an outstanding mind of his era. And personally, I still use his "time track" technique. Moreover, in partner work, this technique is invaluable!
