Language for Describing Chains of Events and Overcoming Fixation on Specific Elements of Perception
Original Source ↗I am glad that through our collective efforts, you have finally created a language for describing Chains of Events. We have already sorted out the suits:
- Hearts – these are sensory experiences (sympathies, antipathies, passions, etc.).
- Diamonds – these are financial matters, various stages of material well-being.
- Clubs – social activity, work, travels.
- Spades – volitional manifestations, aggression, obstacles and their overcoming.
For the rest, having summarized your letters, I have extracted the following elements:
- A (Ace) – force. This can be any external force, element, confluence of circumstances, etc. That which affects us, compelling us to act. That to which we respond.
- K (King) – law, world description. These are norms defining the nature of our responses and actions. These are laws compelling us to act in accordance with the world description. This is "how it should be." This is "what you must" or "what you should." This is the routine, the regime, circumstances and limitations imposed upon us.
- Q (Figure) – a human, an animal, a mosquito. This refers to people collectively. An object that affects us and reacts to our actions.
- J (Jack) – our personal motives, desires, impulses, intentions that compel us to act. In accordance with them, we hope, resent, rejoice, grieve. This is the axis around which our actions revolve.
- 10 (Ten) – a result or consequence of an action (primarily yours).
- 9 (Nine) – production (response, action, output of information, excretion of urine, expressing clever or foolish thoughts – everything we release from our internal system externally).
- 8 (Eight) – contact (a meeting, a conversation, communication, sex, a fight, a quarrel, drinking with friends, a "rendezvous" with a buddy, etc.).
- 7 (Seven) – absorption (ingestion of food and information, watching football, movies, reading a newspaper, etc.).
- 6 (Six) – movement (a walk with a loved one, errands at work, retreating from an opponent or advancing on an enemy, movement of capital).
In principle, we could have done without the sixes, removing "result" or "consequence of an action" and shifting the ranks up by one step. In that case, the deck would gain a bit of limitation and dynamism. Or, conversely, additional ranks could be introduced. But your group has settled on this particular system. Therefore, let us stick with it.
Now, allow me to critique your homework exercises: everyone exhibits fragmentation. For example, Alex himself was surprised that one of his days turned out to be predominantly clubs-oriented. This, my friends, does not happen. Days predominantly of clubs (or hearts) arise from our fixations, which prevent us from perceiving other equally valuable events. Permit me to digress from the topic and discuss the peculiarities of human perception.
According to CC, we possess a pair of perceptual systems based on two centers – the centers of mind and will. At present, we use the first center, and any energetic-informational impact applied to us is expressed by the following scheme: impulse => conductivity => response. Our conductivity is ensured by several filters (shields) that either allow information to pass or retain it. The first shield is the inner dialogue (all sorts of fixations circulating in people's minds, turning their actions, deeds – and indeed their entire lives – into something incidental and secondary). The second primary shield is the "world description" – a set of laws, attitudes, and behavioral patterns – all sorts of "can" and "cannot," "must," "useful," etc. Naturally, the operation of our semiconductor device – this filtering apparatus – can be described by the following categories: complete isolation of the incoming impulse ("this cannot be, because it can never be"), partial conductivity (with delay, with accumulation of potential, with distortion – or without them), complete conductivity (we grasp everything instantly), and amplification of the impulse (hyper-reactions, with or without distortions: paralyzing horror, obsessive states, manias, phobias, etc.).
We, as users of such a program, will have to consider its disadvantages and advantages. Here, it is important to introduce a new setting into the system – fixation on specific elements of the world. Many of you have already noticed that when compiling Chains of Events, you never received a full deck. Therefore, I propose a new task: take one of your recent situations for investigation and describe it with a FULL DECK. This task is difficult, but completing it will bring you immense satisfaction. I promise you that.
The Necessity of a New World Description
For those who don't grasp why this is necessary:
Your misunderstanding is caused by the filters we just discussed. To avoid hurting your feelings, I will use Ksendzyuk as an example. This person possesses ossified perceptual patterns. KsenAP's (Ksendzyuk Alexey Petrovich - editor's note) brain, relying on a monumental system of priorities, allows that the world (as we know it) is the generally accepted description of a vast number of people. Why does KsenAP believe this? Because Castaneda (an authority) said so. Ksendzyuk's brain filters allow this information to pass – he perceives it. When CC states that sorcerers, by changing the world description, reach new horizons of knowledge, KsenAP also believes this, as the information comes from a reliable source. And then appear his detested "Dream Hackers." His hatred for them is imprinted in the filters of his mind. Why did we become his enemies? As far as I understand, out of envy and resentment. We do not acknowledge the qualities he attributes to himself. His actions against people seeking knowledge seem absurd to us. Vereshchagin, "Dream Hackers," and "Hackeross," anyone who expresses new ideas, transforms into a personal enemy for KsenAP. He denigrates every word of such people, distorts their every thought, or attributes their concepts to himself. This is how his shields operate – nothing can be done about it.
But here is an interesting fact: "Dream Hackers" say the same thing as Castaneda – by using a new world description, people can achieve new levels of knowledge. By creating a conceptual language for examining Chains of life Events, we gain excellent tools for investigating reality. But Ksendzyuk does not believe us. He rejects this fundamental idea, calling us potential patients of psychiatric hospitals. Look at this situation – it is a vivid example of how the brain's filters prioritize not the idea itself, but the source from which it originates. Therefore, perhaps the most crucial first step on the path to understanding any technique is its balanced and objective acceptance, a careful and deliberate passing of this idea through the filters of your mind.
So, by creating a new world description (or new elements for the old description), we will receive additional information about our everyday reality, and also gain the ability to influence certain details of the world description.
Further Steps: Influencing the Course of Events
The second step is seeing the perspective. Many "Hackeross" have written about this. And I will try to describe our next steps to you: we have finally completed the creation of the primary version of our programming language. It perfectly suits the deck of cards that we will use as a tool for analyzing situations. This is not fortune-telling (though the kinship is obvious). It is, rather, interaction with the informational universe, with its singularities and laws. Using this connection, we will attempt to influence the course of events in our lives. You will ask, how? In this way:
Now we will practice with the language we have created. We will describe events in such a way as to arrange them into a "full deck." After that, we will identify frequently recurring small cycles – "minors." Then we will work with them and move on to mastering "substitutions." Substitutions are of several types. We will examine suit substitutions and block substitutions, where a certain aggregate of elements is considered as one single element. After this, you will become aces of stalking and masters in communicating with people. Their actions will be an open book to you. And then we will cross the magical crossroads. We will begin to execute parts of the chains in the spheres of universal singularities (that is, roughly speaking, in another informational continuum). For example, to light a cigarette, you will not necessarily need to reach into your pocket for a box of matches or a lighter. A snap of your fingers will suffice. You will manipulate elements of the world description in the manner that DH and Genaro did – remember how they removed Carlos's car from reality? Or how DH made the same leaf fall from a tree several times?
