Stopping the World

Original Source ↗

The best way to stop the world lies in the following trix. One can enter states where any thought will distinctly break a specific fixation of attention. In such cases, thoughts become impulses, disrupting a prolonged process of alignment. You create a state, suddenly – bang! – and everything is ruined. For example, we engage in contemplation, achieve some effect, and suddenly it is disrupted by the whim of the mind. Let's start focusing on these moments of disruption. Then our mind will engage in masturbation. It will begin to fixate on a certain activity, feel the rising tension of the Tonal, which will attempt to initiate the Inner Dialogue, and at the same time, the mind will strive towards ejaculation — an explosive culmination of the process. You, as seasoned tantrists and Taoists, know that the essence of achievements and siddhis lies in prolonging such "pre-ejaculatory" states. For example, in pranayama, you prolong breath retention. The "ejaculation" will be the exhale. The tension lies in the desire to exhale and inhale. In tantra, you prolong the retention of seminal release. In contemplation, you prolong fixation. Thus, the key phrase is: prolongation of fixation!!!

I have already spoken about the hacker's method of stopping the Inner Dialogue at least ten times. It is very simple. Seclude yourself! Tell your relatives you will kill anyone who disturbs your sublime practice. Then lie down in the corpse pose: arms extended along the sides up to the elbows, hands resting on the inguinal creases of the thighs (I don't know how these creases are described. For some, it will be clearer if I say 'along the sides of the lower abdomen'). Legs extended. Sometimes it helps to place one foot over the other (as if closing the circulation of energy flows). The main thing is to relax. But do not doze off or fall asleep. Remember that you are performing a hacker's trix. You can expect anything from these guys. You risk facing real danger. Therefore, relax, but remain vigilant.

Eyes open. You are looking not at the ceiling, but at the middle space between the ceiling and your face. You fix your gaze on the air. With practice, you will learn to do this. Your gaze may wander. Let it do what it wants. All your attention should be directed towards other things. To what? First of all, you force yourself to look at the middle layer of air between you and the ceiling. Secondly, you try not to blink. Tension builds in the muscles that fixate the lens. A stinging sensation appears in your eyes, and you terribly want to blink. And in such an unstable state, every thought will be an impulse to blink or to surrender. But you must not surrender. By will, overcome the stinging in your eyes and the desire to blink. Further relaxation of the body, and especially the lens muscles, helps. In the end, the Inner Dialogue will defeat you.

The practice is as follows. Every day you perform this exercise. Over time, you will become an ace in the battle against muscle tension and the Inner Dialogue. And then, one day, the world will stop. You will enter spaces of pure awareness. I see this as a universe of blue, light blue, and violet bubbles. You can adhere to them, and then they will carry you to other worlds. You can absorb them, and then they will give you unique knowledge. From them, you can assemble patterns of events and worlds, galaxies, gods, and humans. And then you will find yourself in the first attention, with vague recollections of experiences in the second attention. It's bliss! It's worth experiencing. The main thing, in our mental masturbation, is to know the meaning of the trix — the meaning of the contemplative technique!
