First, I force myself to look without blinking for as long as possible; when the stinging becomes unbearable, I close my eyes. After this, tears begin to flow. I blink several times (the eyes are well moisturized) and start the exercise again. The stinging either no longer appears at all or becomes barely noticeable. Incidentally, each week the time required to induce tears increases.
Ghost Cat: One can use eye wash solution, which those who wear contact lenses use. (This solution is a saline solution in distilled water — it tastes like a tear. One can make it oneself by simply using boiled water. - Ed. note) Also, learn to relax the eye muscles, and indeed the entire face. Among all relaxation exercises, this is the most beneficial.
